On the 15th of October, Tribeka Training Lab successfully hosted its inaugural Erasmus Days event, celebrating the spirit of European cooperation and the profound impact of international experiences. Held in collaboration with SEPIE (Servicio Español para la Internacionalización de la Educación), the three-hour event was a dynamic showcase of Tribeka’s dedication to mobility and innovative European projects, streamed live on Facebook to reach a global audience.
The focus of the day was the vital role of Erasmus experiences in personal and professional development. The Tribeka team provided a comprehensive overview of the organization’s mission before diving into its portfolio of KA2 Strategic Partnership projects.
A central attention was directed towards the project coordinated by Tribeka: Piramid (Path for Intercultural Awareness, Measurement, and Development), highlighting its main goal: to strengthen the internationalization process for both schools and companies and raise awareness about managing multicultural environments effectively. The Piramid platform and some videos were introduced to the public, too. The online audience also learned about other impactful projects like Starwomen and AI in Mentoring, where Tribeka is a proud partner.
A particularly engaging segment featured interviews with Tribeka staff members who shared personal and insightful testimonies about their own Erasmus mobility experiences, including physical mobilities for students and teachers organized right here in Málaga. These stories brought the benefits of European collaboration to life, underscoring the transformative power of working and studying abroad.
The celebration continued with interactive, fun-filled activities designed to foster intercultural understanding. The audience, which included a group of students from Poland and some teachers from Italy attending in person at the Málaga office, first delved into the “Erasmus Passport” game, which was thoroughly enjoyed by the international guests. This hands-on approach perfectly complemented the educational presentations, making the concepts of cultural awareness tangible and enjoyable. After that, the participants had the chance to interact with each other through another engaging activity.
The event concluded with a summary delivered by Tribeka’s agency coordinator, Giulia Scavone. By streaming the entire three-hour session live on Facebook, Tribeka ensured that those unable to attend in person could still participate, reflecting the inclusive spirit of the Erasmus Programme. The full video recording remains available on the Tribeka Training Lab Facebook page, inviting anyone who missed the live stream to catch up on the valuable discussions and project presentations.
Tribeka’s first Erasmus Days proved to be a resounding success, not only promoting its European projects but also reinforcing the commitment to equipping the next generation with the international and intercultural skills necessary for success in a globalized world.
