We are delighted to share our experience at the high-profile job fair, Sticks & Stones, held on 29th June 2024 at the Uber Arena Berlin. This prestigious event, conceived in an LGBTQ+ context, was an exceptional platform to promote acceptance, diversity and self-care.
Sticks & Stones is much more than just a job fair. It is a space where LGBTQ+ professionals and allies can meet, exchange and create opportunities in an inclusive and respectful environment. The show highlights various initiatives aimed at encouraging acceptance and well-being, in line with the values of inclusion and respect.
Thanks to our associated partner BERLINK, we had the opportunity to promote our PIRAMID (Path for Intercultural Awareness, Measurement, and Development) project. The project aims to develop intercultural competence and awareness, crucial skills in our increasingly globalised and diverse society.
Taking part in Sticks & Stones was an enriching experience for our partner but also for our project. We were able to promote the project in an environment relevant to our theme, but also at one of the most prestigious job fairs, which enabled us to reach a wider audience.
The positive reception and interest shown in PIRAMID encourages us to pursue our mission with even greater determination. We believe that initiatives like PIRAMID can help build a more inclusive and harmonious society.
We would like to thank our partner Berlink for promoting our project and all those who took an interest. A big thank you also to the organisers of Sticks & Stones for creating such a dynamic and inclusive space. Through this event, we hope to reach an even wider audience and have a significant impact on promoting intercultural competence.
We look forward to participating in future events and continuing to promote the values of inclusion, respect and diversity through the PIRAMID project!
